Why The Grout Boss
Our Focus on Providing Veterans Opportunities
“What I am most proud of is that our success directly impacts two initiatives that I am involved with. The Thomas B. Grimm Veterans’ Scholarship and the Boss Initiative Military Veteran’s Fund”
The Thomas B. Grimm Veteran’s Scholarship
Thomas Grimm was a veteran of The United States Navy and served in Vietnam. Tom was also the father in law of our Founder and CEO Eric Tirado. After leaving the Navy, Tom joined the Bay County Sheriff’s Department in Panama City, Florida where he served 30 years. Tom was a patriot who loved his country. Tom passed from cancer in March of 2017.
The scholarship is in his Honor. With this scholarship, all honorably discharged veterans’ will automatically qualify for our $4,000 scholarship towards their Franchise Fee. We hope that our veterans can seamlessly take the next step into entrepreneurship and continue to serve their communities.
The Boss Initiative Military Veteran’s Fund
The Grout Boss know too well the pains our military men and women endure during their careers. Many service members serve multiple tours of duty away from their family or return home from tours with physical and or mental scars. It’s because of their hard work and dedication to protecting our freedoms we have set up our BOSS Initiative Military Veterans’ Fund. With this charity the Gout Boss will donate a portion of each new franchise fee to a charity that directly helps Veterans in need.
Are you a Veteran? If so—we discount our franchise fee by $4,000. Be sure to let our Franchise Sales team know that you are a Veteran.
