Besides the obvious desire to help people restore a dingy area of their home into a thing of beauty—you must have the ability to develop relationships with homeowners. The key ingredient to your future success will be based on your people skills—how you relate to not only your staff, but also the homeowners who you will eventually work for.

Our training program gives you everything you need to prepare yourself for the majority of Tile and Grout repair, restoration and cleaning that you will run into during your Grout Boss Franchise ownership. You will spend a substantial amount of time with us at our Training Facility in Melbourne Florida and your training will include our established business processes and best practices. Our program includes hands-on training and customer service development. We will also train you on running the day-to-day business operations.

Yes. We recommend that you maintain a separate office within your home for administrative and operational functions. You may need to have a small warehouse to store equipment and your vehicles as you grow. Remember—our clients don’t come to us—we go to them.

Not Directly. All financial responsibilities are outlined in our Franchise Disclosure Document. The range of investment, which includes your franchise fee, training, initial marketing and setting up your home office will be between $57,584 to $152,345. We do have third party funding on your initial equipment package. Franchisees typically purchase or finance a support vehicle locally and we will provide a local vendor with our graphics package.

Not in the traditional sense, however, you can add additional businesses to your franchise agreement so you can service a larger geography. We understand that you may want the flexibility to serve a larger geographic area and so we can discuss this option with you during your discovery phase of the process. You are provided a protected territory as part of your franchise agreement. We will also provide you a first right of refusal for adjacent territories at the time of your franchise being purchased.

The initial franchisee fee is $10,000 to $14,400. You will pay ongoing royalties of 6% or $1200 per month and contribute 4% on local marketing. We ask that you spend these marketing dollars locally to increase awareness—however we will you assist with the development of your presence on our website and local marketing collateral. We will also recommend a vendor to assist you with local mailers, specialized SEO search and Pay-Per-Click advertising.

Since we have no build-out, you will be in business as soon as you complete training.

Yes. We will assist you with all aspects of your opening.

We have an extensive social media policy that we have coupled with best practices. Some franchise owners are better equipped than others to monitor and manage their social media presence. We will discuss this at length during training and you will be all set up before you open your local Grout Boss Franchise.
